Ms. Cordero began her legal career in 2001 with Law Office of Barry T. Simons and headed-up the Law and Motion portion of that firm's practice.
In 2016, Ms. Cordero left the firm to form The SoCal Law Network with her two partners, Alan Castillo and Peter F. Iocona.
In 2018, Ms. Cordero opened up her own firm as well, Marlo Cordero, Attorney at Law, which focuses on Ms. Cordero's interests that are separate and apart from those of Peter F. Iocona, Attorney at Law and The SoCal Law Network.
